It can be tough to find that perfect balance of quality and affordability, especially when you're looking for high-end fabrics or travel gear. We've all been there scrolling through Instagram, seeing something that looks amazing, but being a little hesitant to try a new brand.
That's exactly how I (Candy) discovered Quince a few years ago. Before our trip to Paris, I was scrolling and saw their promise of "luxury for less." It sounded almost too good to be true, but the prices were so affordable, I had to give it a shot.
Packing Quince: Why We Re-Wear These
My first purchase was the 100% European Linen Button Front Dress and the Washable Stretch Silk V-Neck Cami. I told Crystal about Quince and she purchased the linen dress too…we’ve been hooked ever since. Fast-forward three years, and Quince has grown to offer everything from clothes and jewelry to travel bags. We’re so glad they’ve found their audience, because it means we can keep stocking our closets with their high-quality, long-lasting products.
Now that we’ve put their stuff to the test, here are some of our absolute favorite Quince pieces that have become staples in our wardrobes.
The Washable Stretch Silk V-Neck Cami
This washable silk cami was my first purchase, and it pretty much comes with me on all my travels. I've always loved the elegant look of silk tops, but the dry clean only hassle and high price tag always held me back. When I saw this one was both affordable and machine-washable, I knew I had to try it.
The adjustable straps give you the perfect fit, and the 19mm fabric weight gives it a luxurious drape. That’s a key detail to look for in silk, as anything lighter won't have that same softness or durability. Plus, it has a built-in lining, so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through. I've washed this cami many times on the gentle cycle and always hang it to dry, and it still looks and feels fantastic.

The European 100% Linen Set: Shirt & Maxi Skirt
Just like silk, linen is another one of those fabrics that can be surprisingly expensive due to its labor-intensive production, but it’s the ultimate choice for staying cool in warm weather. Crystal loves her 100% European Linen Short Sleeve Shirt, especially for those muggy Florida summers (that’s where she lives).
Exploring Osaka, Japan
She first wore it on our trip to Osaka, Japan, and paired it with Quince's 100% Linen Maxi Skirt. The skirt has two side pockets and a comfy elastic waistband, which are always a huge plus. The side slit adds a relaxed vibe, and together, the pieces are perfect for staying cool while looking effortlessly chic.
The Baby Alpaca Wool Cropped Cardigan
After loving the silk cami, I decided to try another "luxury" fabric: wool. I was a bit hesitant at first. Wool can be itchy and prone to pilling. But I didn't have to deal with any of these issues with Quince’s Baby Alpaca Wool Cropped Cardigan.
This cardigan is classy yet casual with a flattering cropped design, and it’s become my go-to everyday layer. It's incredibly lightweight, so I can toss it in my tote bag without it taking up any space or weighing me down. The baby alpaca wool is soft and not scratchy, so it’s perfect to wear with my silk cami. What I love most is that it’s naturally resistant to pilling. After wearing it nonstop for a couple of years, I’ve barely seen any pilling, so I haven’t had to use my sweater comb even once.

Ultra-Stretch Ponte Super Wide Leg Pants
After falling in love with their tops, I had to try a pair of their pants. I was immediately drawn to the Ultra-Stretch Ponte Super Wide Leg Pants because of how the model on their website styled them very Parisian chic.

But beyond the styling, these pants checked two major boxes for me: a high rise and a long inseam. As someone who’s 5'9", I really appreciate that Quince offers a 32-inch inseam option. These pants are also super comfortable thanks to the elastic waistband and ultra-stretchy ponte fabric. They create such a chic, leg-lengthening silhouette. I’ve worn and washed them countless times (always hang-drying them), and they still look brand new. In fact, I love them so much, I bought a second pair as a backup.
The Front Pocket Carry-On Suitcase
Crystal’s must-have travel item is Quince’s Front Pocket Carry-On Suitcase. She completely switched from her old brand (you know the one) to this one and has zero regrets. We’ve taken it on multiple trips to Japan, and it’s been a dream. The wheels are incredibly smooth, and it's so lightweight, which is a lifesaver when you have to carry it up stairs.
The front pocket is a total game-changer, big enough for her 16-inch laptop and other essentials, which makes getting through security so much easier. Inside, the compression panels and removable laundry bag help maximize space. It's also backed by a limited lifetime warranty, so you can travel with peace of mind. For the price, this suitcase is simply unbeatable.

The Acetate Apple Watch Band
I was on the hunt for a stylish Apple Watch band, but everything I found was way over my budget. When I came across Quince’s Acetate Apple Watch Band, I immediately added it to my cart. The price was half of what other brands were selling, and the quality is fantastic. A bonus is that it's made from acetate, a plant-based and eco-friendly alternative to conventional plastic.
This watch band plays nice with other wrist accessories
Crystal wears hers constantly that she even has a tan line from it! It’s still in perfect condition after more than a year of daily wear, without any visible scuffs or scratches. Each band also comes with a complimentary resizing kit so you can get the perfect fit.
Our Quince Jewelry Picks
We both have several jewelry pieces from Quince. Crystal's everyday favorite is the Earring Cuff. She's had it for over two years, and it's maintained its quality and comfortably hugs her earlobe. Sadly, they’ve discontinued the ear cuff, but we're hoping they bring it back.
My favorite is the 14K Gold Pave Diamond Single Huggie. I’d never owned a pair of diamond earrings before, so when I saw this one at an affordable price, I jumped on it. I’ve been wearing them nonstop, even while sleeping, and they don't bother me at all. Some reviewers on the site find them a bit small, but I prefer the petite size, and it's probably why I can wear them 24/7.
Final Thoughts
It’s been exciting to see Quince gain popularity, because it means we’ll continue to have access to a brand that offers quality products at an affordable price point. The styles and accessories we mentioned are our absolute favorites that we wear over and over again. Even if you’re unsure about a piece, Quince has a great one-year return policy and free shipping, so it’s a stress-free process to give something a try.
