 Can you believe we're almost at the end of 2016? We say this every year, but time just flies by so fast! We did a good amount of traveling this year and wanted to share with you our favorite travel destinations of 2016. From Iceland to California to Indiana, each location had something fun and unique to offer. 

I was traveling to Chicago for a weekend and since I’ve been around downtown Chicago numerous times before, I wanted to explore something different. I started researching what was near Chicago and came upon Shipshewana, Indiana; a small Amish town only a couple of hours away and thought it was a perfect place to check out!

I recently made a trip to Amish country Indiana in Shipshewana, but beforehand, I stopped by Cook’s Bison Ranch, which was 30 minutes southeast of the city. I have never seen bison up close before, so thought this was a perfect opportunity to learn more about these animals going through the fields in a tractor wagon.
