Oxford Exchange has been around in Tampa for awhile, but we only recently visited for brunch. I don't know why it took us so long to visit this place because it is gorgeous!! You feel like you're walking into a huge library with coffee bars, beautiful dark furniture, high ceilings and checkered black & white tiles on the floor. Coming from Los Angeles, Candy was very impressed with this spot and felt like she was at some trendy place back in California.

Before we sat down at our table for brunch, we browsed around the incredible space. There is a cute book store, a Buddy Brew coffee bar, a Tebella Tea Company bar, a gift shop and Warby Parker designer eyewear showroom, which recently opened in February 2016.

There is also an upstairs area with a few chairs and couches along with office space. I just wanted to buy everything in that cute little book store and gift shop! It's like you're browsing around an Etsy store full of handmade, hip-looking things.

We heard that this was a busy place for brunch, so we made reservations in advance and I'm so glad we did because the wait time was about 45 minutes. Although, it probably wouldn't be that bad waiting around here because there's so much to look at with lots of lounging areas.

We sat in the area with a glass roof which filled the room with natural, warm light. There was a huge tea selection, which Candy loved, so she ordered a Florida Orange Blossom that came in a cute stainless steel tea pot. We ordered a bunch of food and stuffed ourselves with the Eggs Benedict, Super Simple Sandwich and the Pancakes. The Super Simple Sandwich was the best deal at $9. It was very filling and tasty.

At the end of our meal, the checks came out in old books! I really loved this idea. Can they get any cooler!?

I would come here all the time so I can work on my laptop while sipping on some coffee in this gorgeous place, but they don't provide wifi. I'm guessing it's because they're going for the whole library theme, so it would be more fitting to read a book instead of being glued to your computer. I guess that's cool.
