I’m always on a hunt for dog-friendly hotels along I-10 since Kuma travels with me on all of my cross-country road trips. Fort Stockton is a good pit stop in Texas and La Quinta Inn opened a new hotel in October 2020, so I decided to check this place out.
Read MoreOne of my favorite parks in the LA county area is Hahamongna Watershed Park. My neighbor invited me to meet up with her and her pups here and ever since, it has been my go-to park. The park is beautifully maintained with plenty of facilities which include a 24-hole Frisbee golf course, numerous picnic areas, barbecue pits, an athletic field, hiking trails, and restrooms.
Read MoreNorth Shore Inn at Lake Mead is a fantastic dog-friendly accommodation if you are in the area to visit Valley of Fire State Park or Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada. The inn is located in Moapa Valley, just 16 miles south of the area, which is much closer than the drive from Las Vegas, which is 50 miles south of the area.
