Bacchanal Buffet | The Best Buffet in Las Vegas

Anytime someone mentions Vegas, I instantly think of Bacchanal Buffet and I start rambling about how amazing this buffet is. I’m not a huge buffet person, but this place is special. It’s so good that it makes me want to cry. Yes, I’m pretty sure I mentioned this before, but I cry for good food. When we booked our trip to Vegas, I was overjoyed we were staying at the Paris Hotel because Bacchanal was right across the street!

Bacchanal Buffet is located within Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and the massive dining space can fit up to 600 guests. In 2012, Bacchanal completely reinvented the traditional buffet with modern food presentations and an upscale setting. You can choose from over 500 daily offerings, with many dishes uniquely displayed on small plates.

When I first heard about Bacchanal, everything sounded fabulous, but I wasn’t really looking forward to paying the hefty price. Anything over $30 for a buffet is too much for me because I never feel like I get my money’s worth and the food is always mediocre. Once I stepped foot into Bacchanal, all those thoughts went out the window. This place did not feel like a buffet at all. It was more like an upscale restaurant with endless amounts of high quality food all around you!

There are tons of different food stations and sections - Seafood, Carving Station, Mexican, Fresh Juices, Italian, Cheese & Deli Meats, Salad Bar, Asian, Italian, Noodle Bar, Desserts, Crepe Station, and a Gelato Bar. This is not your typical buffet either. Everything is prepared fresh and the staff is constantly cleaning and bringing out hot dishes so that you will not be stuck with that stale flavor at typical buffets. Most dishes are meticulously portioned out for you in exquisite presentations. Everything is presented so nicely and professionally. I just wanted to squeal with joy when I saw the line of mini baskets with chicken & waffles.

Freshly squeezed juices

Everything tastes so fresh and I especially love the fresh juices they prepare for you. You get to try fresh juices like watermelon, cucumber, carrot, mango and more. Some of them didn’t fit my taste buds, but it was the fact that they freshly squeezed all sorts of different juices everyday that was really impressive.

Great selection of high quality cheeses

The Noodle Bar was another favorite of mine because you get to sample different types of Asian noodles and soups from Japan to Vietnam to China. You just tell the chef what soup you want and he prepares the noodle and soup fresh for you. So delish!

Minin desserts

Of course, my ultimate favorite section was the desserts. On top of all the fresh, mini desserts they have neatly lined up, there’s a gelato station and a crepe station. I was smiling so hard my cheeks were starting to hurt.

Crepes made to order

I’ve been here three times so far - once for dinner and the other two times for brunch. I didn’t really enjoy the dinner buffet as much as I did brunch. I think it’s because they had a lot of seafood at dinner and I don’t really like seafood much. Plus, brunch has a live crepe station and that wins me over every time. However, if you do love seafood, you'll love dinner because I hear they serve the best king crab legs either chilled or steamed.

Bacchanal is a popular buffet, so if you want to avoid long lines, try going at off hours like an hour before lunch or dinner time. 11am for brunch was a little crowded, but not too bad compared to the line we saw later when we left the buffet at around 1pm. 5pm for dinner was a perfect time as 7pm starts to get pretty crowded. They also have kiosks where you can check in and get a text later to let you know when your table is ready.

I hope you’ll love and enjoy the Bacchanal Buffet as much as I did. It’s literally the only buffet that I like. Happy eating!

xo, Crystal
