We wanted to stop by the Villa Blanca Italian restaurant because Crystal is a huge fan of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and one of the stars on the show, Lisa Vanderpump, owns this restaurant. We actually stopped by one of her other restaurants, Sur, a couple of years ago and ran into Mrs. Vanderpump herself! Crystal was so happy and Lisa was kind enough to take a picture with her. We weren’t so lucky this time, but still had a fun time at the restaurant.

The restaurant is located at the infamous Rodeo Drive. It’s right on the corner of Brighton & Camden and stands out right away. There are several parking garages in the area, but there is one parking garage that is nearby that lets you park for free up to 2 hours.

Villa Blanca serves Italian food, which is Crystal’s favorite! Right when you walk in, you’re in awe of all the flower decorations around the restaurant. Lisa Vanderpump loves her flowers and makes sure the flowers are fresh and lively everyday.

We wanted to sit inside to take in all the beautiful flowers and ancient Rome decor. There was a cute little area with a bench and pillows, but we weren’t allowed to sit there because we only had a party of two, so we had to sit in the middle of the restaurant at a tiny table. I get that they have to save the seats for larger groups, but the restaurant was pretty empty when we got there. A few more customers came in afterwards, but it never got crowded and the bench area was never taken. We were a little disappointed, but got over it.

The food is a bit expensive, but nothing too outrageous. We ordered the Chicken Avocado Sandwich and Bolognese Spaghetti. Both dishes were excellent! They really know what they’re doing back there in the kitchen. Both entrees were a pretty good size, so we were able to take some home to eat leftovers afterwards.

The service at the restaurant was average. I was hoping the service would be a bit friendlier, but the hostess and server were both a little stand-offish. They weren’t mean, but they just didn’t have any personality or warmth. They almost seemed like robots just doing everything properly. We’ve both experienced way better service at plenty of other restaurants.

We were going to order deserts, but wanted save that for our next stop at the Nespresso Cafe, which is an awesome place for desert and coffee.
