Summer isn't quite over yet! I love going to the beach, but I never know if I'm actually going to just lay out or jump in the water. Over the years I learned not to wear mascara. Even if I don't go in the water, the heat and sweat eventually starts to melt my mascara and that dreadful panda look starts to emerge. I don't like waterproof mascara since it's such a pain to take off and I lose some of my real lashes every time I attempt to remove it gently.
Sure, I could just go without makeup, but I'm so used to always having something on that I feel so naked without it. A face full of makeup to the beach just looks ridiculous, but there are some secrets and tricks to looking fabulously fresh faced and natural.
- Instead of using foundation, I applied a tinted sunscreen which gives just enough coverage.
- I left the eyelids naked, but to give them a hint of dewiness I dabbed on coconut balm.
- I applied a shimmery shadow on the inner corner of my eyes to brighten them up.
- And to finish off the look, I applied little bit of lip color that was pretty close to the color of my natural lip color.
The perfect beach face is all about looking fresh, dewy, and ultimately it musn't look made up.
