How I Saved Over $4,500 on Travel with Southwest Airlines

Southwest is one one of my favorite airlines here in the US and I saved big over the last year with their Companion Pass. For those that don’t know what a Companion Pass is, it’s a pass that lets you choose one person to fly free with you every time you purchase or redeem points for a flight. So, since I almost always purchase 2 tickets (one for me and one for Ryan), it was a huge money saver!

On top of flying a companion for free, I accumulated 110,000 Southwest reward points by signing up for their credit card bonus offers. This is a lot of points and can get you at least 4 free flights.
